Something Damaging my Tomatoes

Last few days something has been eating my tomatoes, I suspect mice, but they are knocking them off the plant, green tomatoes are also being knocked off but not eaten.

Anyone with any ideas?

Sorry for the quality of the photo, the tomato is dull red in reality.

  • Mine were being eaten by blackbirds until I protected them with netting. It could well be mice though!

     Not birds as the plants are in a closed greenhouse and it is happening overnight.

    I am just surprised that the tomatoes are being knocked off the plants, thought a mouse would be to small.

    I used to grow them outside and had the same problem every year to some extent.
    It was only the lower trusses that were nibbled and there were other toms on the ground nearby - I assumed mice were the culprits, but I didn't loose sufficient to worry about
