self watering herbs?
in Fruit & veg
I am the sort of houseplant gardener that kills cactuses, but because we have local moggies and I have a food blog, a small indoor herb garden is a necessity. However, they seeem to need very frequent watering. Close inspection reveals they're all pot bound. Before I jsut stick them in bigger pots, any tips on 'self watering' windowsil herbs that would only need water once or twice a week? I'm forever overwatering seedlings because the herbs need so much.

You could try one's with tap roots
Ha ha! Found a thing with capillary matting and a reservoir that should help if I pot them up.
