Echinops

Hello folks

I have an Echinops globe plant which the bees have really enjoyed this year.  I'd like to grow more  from seed for the bees.  Can I collect and successfully grow them from the flower head seeds?  Replies much appreciated.  Thanks

Nikki

yes, they're easy from seed. They seed themselves here.

Let them mature and go brown on the plant.

They seed everywhere here as well, I had to get the original plants out, with a pickaxe this spring but there are dozens of them again now, once you have them you'll never be without?

You may as well wait for the seedlings to appear then put them where you want them.
