Peony Leaves

Hi all,  my new Peony (planted in May) imageis doing really well, growing strong and enjoying its position in the garden. I'm not expecting flowers till next year... but the tips of the leaves have turned dark brown this past week... any idea what this could be please? thanks

Peonies are one of the first plants to die down in the autumn and this year the seasons are coming a bit early, so I wouldn't worry ... the leaves are just showing their age image

I don't think it is anything to worry about. Could be a combination of scorch from wet weather and harsh sun. At this time of year, Peonies are worn out and dying down, Some leaves even turn red. Your plant looks healthy to me.

Thank you Borderline - glad I asked, I'm learning every day. Only got into gardening this year and absolutely love it ?
