Hello all,
We found this fruit tree on our walk yesterday could anyone tell me what it is? I'm thinking a type of plum but I may be wrong!

The red Cherry Plum ... Prunus cerasifera https://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/visiting-woods/trees-woods-and-wildlife/british-trees/common-non-native-trees/cherry-plum/
Makes good jams, pies, crumbles etc.
There's also a yellow form.
