Plant id's please

As usual I have not made a note of what plants I have put in pots or direct into the ground - each year I promise myself I will but forget... sign of age I guess! 

Could anyone identify the following for me?

    3, 4. Japanese Anemone.

    5,6. Verbena bonariensis.

    Thanks Punkdoc - number 1 is the same as 2 and I thought it was a rose because of the thorns BUT it has never flowered just grown bigger and bigger. Should I cut it back or something so it will flower or is there any other way? It's healthy enough and certainly tall, but not very good to look at. Any ideas?
