What to do next

TulipaTulipa Posts: 7

Hi there,

I need some help in regarding daffodils ????. I was left with an empty space in this big and long plant pot where I had daffodils.

I just want to know, what can I plant after daffodil flowering? After the leaves die off.... can I use the space for other plant types, without damaging the bulbs.? Can I have plants for the summer time?? I know is quite late in the season but I need for the future.

Thanks

Maria

Yes, you can plant annuals or perennials between the daffs. Easier to do it without damaging the bulbs when you can see them next spring but autumn is ok if you're careful. You can replant any you dig up accidentally and it never harms daffs to be dug up and the clumps split up.

    Thanks for you advise nutcutlet.

I'll find some Perennials. Any particular  suggestions to the type?

What's the soil like? How much sun?

You can grow anything with daffs really, except tiny plants that will get swamped by the leaves.
