POSY, MY OH MOANS IF I SO MUCH AS MOVE THE STRAWBERRY JAM TO THE LEFT OF THE PLUM JAM. HE WOULD COLLAPSE IN A STEAMY HEAP IF I MOVED THINGS FROM CUPBOARD TO CUPBOARD.image

Apophthegm -  a big word for a small thought.
If you live in Derbyshire, as I do.

I don't keep flour in the cupboard.  I keep it in airtight storage jars on the worktop.  Before it goes into the jar it gets put in the freezer for three days.

Will be reducing carbohydrate consumption  for a while. I will get my protein elsewhere

    In London. Keen but lazy.

The first time I went to the Red Sea on  a boat, another of the guests was a vegetarian. The Egyptians catered for her by giving her extra rice instead of the meat and fish.  As she said... "At least they are picking the weevils out of the rice"image

Somehow I lost 7 pounds in 7 days and needed another holiday when I got back.

I keep my sunflower seeds for the birds in a galvanized dustbin in the garage. They also tend to have crawly things in them by the time I get to the bottom of the sack.
