Tiny bugs on houseplants. Thrips?

These tiny bugs are all over many of my indoor plants including this avocado, my monsteras, my chillis, and some succulents. The plants slowly wilt and the leaves go yellow before falling off. They plagued me over the summer last year and now they are back! Does anyone know what they are and how to get rid of them?
