Hi I have the same conundrum ... my first 2 zucchini flowers are female with fruit ... I can only conclude that these courgette defender f1 are self pollinating .... I am scared to harvest them in case I ruin the plants future intentions !
That’s perfectly normal ... unpollinated female courgette flowers always have a courgette behind the flower. They can sometimes be quite a reasonable size before the flower opens and is pollinated.
The courgette grows bigger if pollinated or rots and drops off if not.
