Repotted plant is now dying
I was recently given a beautiful patio plant that looked way too big for it's pot. The first thing I did was re-pot it and not very long after the leaves started wilting... Some have now completely died while others are holding on for dear life. About two weeks after repotting I fertilized it with the hopes that might help, but no such luck I'm not sure what to do at this point - help!! BTW I'm not certain what kind of plant it is...

A picture would help. The usual causes of wilting like this are: damaged roots when repotting; the wrong type of compost; too little water; too much water and too much bright sunlight while it adjusts. Don't feed it, this will make things worse; move it into a cool, light but not sunny place and water sparingly. Meanwhile, if you post a picture, someone will identify it and tell you how to look after it. It may survive, even now, with a bit of luck and TLC.
