Name of flower

imageHI there... I'm new to this forum and still a garden novice... I brought a selection of perennials which were labelled wrong and I love this flower and have no clue to the name... Could anyone help me with this....

    gaura lindheimeri by the looks of it.

    These Gaura The Bride, along with  Echinops were the first flowers I ever grew from seeds.

    Unfortunately   the Gaura was a bit short lived, it grew very straggly after a few years and I dug them out.. 

    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
