ive just come home after visiting a friends garden she has not long ago moved in and is still trying to ID plants, we are both stuck with this one any ideas,
its the one with crinkly edged leaves.

Sorry the second picture is the wrong plant it should be,
Hi Chrissy. The nearest I could get to it - and I did use google was Curly Wood Sage
Teucrium scorodonia Crispum Marginatum.
I'm not sure if that is a correct ID though
Thank you so much Ladybird, I've looked up wood sage and I think that's right, as I hadn't had any replies I thought it was going to remain a mystery it's a lovely plant so I might see if I can propagate some.

2nd pic appears to be Self-heal (Prunella vulgaris). Nice flowers but can be an unsighly lawn nuisance if seeds find their way into your grass.
