Hi everyone - I saw this in a friends garden, she said it must have come up from a wildflower seed packet

it looked lovely, waist height thin almost grassy ferny fronds/stems with lovely 1p sized blue / lilac flowers, its shape a little bit like Gypsophilia but the flowers alternated up the stem as opposed to umbels on the top like Gypsophilia

many thanks

I love it and do hope someone recognises it

I used to get that growing under my bird feeders until I started buying 'No Grow' mix so I assume those seeds are also in bird food. Its very pretty. image

Linum perenne ; had this appear from a wildflower mix from Home Bargains ; there is a nice red species of similar growth habit , L.grandiflorum .
