Rose problem

I recently (about a month ago) transplanted a rose from a border to a large pot. It seemed to have taken ok, but part of it now has black spots and holes in the leaves. The rest of the plant looks healthy as far as I can tell (see attached pictures). I'd be very grateful for any advice, I'm really keen for this plant to thrive as it was my grandad's (And his mum's!).

Thanks in advance,

The roses look fine to me. There is just a bit of black spot and possible leaf-cutter bee damage, but nothing to really be concerned about. Longterm, you will need to work out the eventual size of your rose and what kind of container to grow it in. I don't think your current pot looks generous enough.
