Indoor olive tree issues

I have an indoor olive tree that sits on a west facing window ledge. For some time these white spots have been appearing on all the leaves .They are quite powdery and scrape away easily. The leaves curl and fall off fairly regularly and any new growth seems to be mis-shapen. Does anyone know what it's suffering from and if I can cure it?

    I only meant that it is kept indoors - apologies for the phrasing. image

    I don't have access to an outdoor area so this isn't an option but can try a larger pot and new potting medium...any idea what the problem might be ?
