Green fly

Hello all, 

I grow my sweet peas every year and this year I have so more green fly on them !! What can I do to help stop this ?

Either rub them off with your hand, or use a jet of water from the hose, although a squirty bottle with water in it is possibly better to avoid spoiling the flowers.

If you have enough small birds coming into your garden, they'll help with aphid consumption - blue tits in particular. It's worth having a feeder even at this time of year to encourage them
