Unknown Garden shrub

Hello peeps..

My first post so please be gentle :-)

i have this shrub in my back garden which grows pretty fast. I have always wondered what it is but cannot find it anywhere to identify it.

i have just noticed that for the first time ever there are thousands of little buds appearing on it and some are starting to burst into flower.

i anticipate that when the flowers break it will look very nice.

please look at attached photos. I will be very grateful if someone can help me out..

    Could it be Olearia argophylla (Musk-Daisy) ? Looks so familiar from somewhere , but I may be wrong .

    Looks a bit like Prunus Lusitanica Myrtifolia.
