Peace lily turning brown yellow

I bought a healthy peace lily a month back and it has started to wilt and turn yellow brown. As I read the wilting happens if the plant is dry, but I water my plants enough and only rewater when the surface is dry. And I also let the drain water to come out. I live in a tropical humid environment and the location of peace lily is in my living room where there is some indirect sunlight.
I don't know what I am doing wrong. Please help!!
