Acidanthera bulbs

I've just received 50 Acidanthera bulbs from Hayloft - I don't remember ordering them; they might have been a freebie or special offer. They flower in late summer and when i looked them up, it said to plant the bulbs in spring after frost.

What should I do with them now? Any advice welcome!

    plant them.

    nothing to lose, they won't be alive by next year.

    It doesn't help when they're not delivered til after the planting time

    Far too late to plant now ; hopefully they'll get through winter stored cool somewhere .

    (Brilliant time to send them ....Duh!!image ).

    i would plant. There's no time in a bulbs natural life when it's stored.

    50 for free is good, put half in ground or pots and lift/store before winter and put the rest in a cool dry place.

    I think these take a couple of years to flower

    Thanks for the advice, lovely people. I'm going to plant half in a pot, and bring indoors after autumn, and store the other half somewhere cool and dark.
