To all you gardeners out there please could I have your help in identifying this plant. It blooms in May and has a very strong perfume.
It's a lovely lilac - identical to the one I accidentally killed in my garden a few years ago
I bought it at Hyde Hall years ago and vaguely recall it being called something like Malaysian or Indonesian Lilac

Syringa meyeri Palibin, or Korean Lilac.
Yea! - I knew it was somewhere to the east
