What to do with this manky lupin?
My lupin put on a magnificent show this year but is now looking well past its best. There are lots of aphids and it appears to be a bit slug eaten. Slugs didn't affect the new growth in the spring, but like last year it starts to look terrible after flowering. First pic from the end of May, second was taken today .
Can you suggest what is should do with it? Should I cut back hard, or get rid of it? Anything that replaces it needs to bee/moth/insect friendly so I'd appreciate any suggestions. The bed is south east facing.

I would cut well back to almost ground level ; you will probably new growth before Autumn .
Sorry (GET) new growth .
Thanks Paul. Have cut it right back was more aphid than lupin!
