Any idea what this weed is??

PLEASE can you help identify this weed and how to eradicate it.

This weed is in my paddock and parts of the lawn. Currently about 2-4" high. Comes every year and is spreading. Pushes up from under paving slabs too.

    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
