Can anyone identify this plant please? It's about 5 foot tall, and the leaves smell a little of rhubarb. Help this is driving me mad, have asked so many garden centres,gardeners etc etc.

It looks like one of the Sage family to me. I would have guessed at Salvia sclarea but that only grows to about a metre high. Its very pretty whatever it is.

more than a metre here, Lb maybe depends on soil etc
Ok thanks to you all ,will look it up. It is lovely and the bees love it. Can sleep tonight, you've no idea how frustrated I've been ?
Nutcutlet - it could very well. I'm quite jealous as it is a real eyecatcher and anything that bees love is great in my estimation
