Canna Tropicana Black

Can anyone help me out? I've just obtained a Canna Tropicana Black and am unsure about where to plant it. I'd like to plant it in wet soil as I've heard that these plants can be planted in ponds- not sure about this variety though.  The area in question is permanently a little boggy because of spring water run off. Would it be alright here? Any advice is gratefully received, thanks.

    Boggy should be fine. [ some Cannas will grow in water ]

    Full sun and lots of feeding.

    Don't forget to dig it up in the autumn as they are not hardy.

    What punkdoc said image they are very greedy / thirsty plants.
