Hi does anyone know what this plant is called, I have been told its a weed but no one knows its name ?

oh no that's not it the leaves are much bigger about 5cm in width

Looks like Geum urbanum (wood avens) to me, just before it sends up flowering stems.  I can't get rid of the damn stuff from my garden.

Apologies, if leaves are over 5cms, it's unlikely to be a Campanula.

I think we have a winner.... after more googling I think this may be the one. Will see when it flowers.

I love the leaves so will leave it be

Have a look at some Geums ... Similar leaves, gorgeous flowers and doesn't spread so invasive ly.

It looks like a geum, if you didn't plant it, then it's Geum urbanum, a hugely self seeding weed. The moment an insignificant little yellow flower appears, whip it out before it seeds.
