Bit of a photo glitch going on on the site at the moment.....
Same as last weekend. GWF staff go home for weekend, picture uploading goes pear-shaped.
Should be fixed on Monday when they get back
Hi Raisingirl
oh thanks I'm so pleased it's not me that's doing something wrong.
This site drives me mad at times I wonder why I bother.
i will have another go on Monday as you say when the staff get back in.
(sounds like something from the 70s doesn't it )☹️
To be fair, we don't pay a penny to use this Forum. Overall, I'm happy with it.
Maybe if we all volunteered to pay, it might be wonderful?
Anyone want to be the first to offer to cough up?
Hi Hosta fan1
I understand your view
but I subscribe to the Magazine
and I view their t v programs,
I also think if they provide a web site full of advertising, which they get paid for!
I think one should expect the site to work properly at all times?
Ad blocker does a wonderful job of avoiding the ads.
It's free too.
The TV programmes are made by the BBC .... this site is owned by Immediate Media ... different organisations.
And as for the advertising ... I've a suspicion that it's special ads being run over weekends that may be triggering the glitch ... it's very complicated to get a site to run 'glitch free' when it has to be viewed on so many different operating systems etc .... and it's such a major part of our lives that I think we sometimes forget how new this technology is .................. I'm pretty sure the combustion engine was quite unreliable and had it's own blips and glitches for quite a while until the motor car became something we expected to be able to get into, switch on and have a trouble free journey.
