Cherry tree disease
We have recently moved and inherited a small cherry tree. It obviously has a disease, but we don't know what it is. The leaves are turning brown and curling up. It must be exuding some sweet substance as it is attracting lots of bees. We thought it was fireblight but we've read that this doesn't affect cherries. We'd be grateful for any information and how to treat it. Thank you.

If you have a photo ideally one of the tree and a close up of a leaf, then forum members will have a chance of identifying the problem with your cherry.

Thank you. I have attached some photos.

I'm afraid the photos aren't visible ... click on the camera icon and follow the instructions to upload photos.
If they don't upload reduce the size of the photos ... that usually works.

Sorry about that! I did have the camera set on max resolution which may have been the problem. I've reduced the size so I hope these come out OK although the quality won't be as good.

I think there's a problem on the site again re. uploading photos

I don't think there's anything else I can do my end. The photos appear to be uploading OK, but as you say they can't be opened. Happy to try any other suggestions!
